Was it better or worse in Scotland ?

It was just different !

FOOD

Breakfast was huge but boys were starving after lunch !

Some of us were asking for French bread only three days after leaving France !

ALLOWED / PROHIBITED

In Scotland, it was REALLY impossible to drink a beer in a pub, or to buy whiskey without showing an ID !

"If you are lucky enough to look under 21, you will be asked to prove that you are over 18 when you buy alcohol" is a reality !

We were amazed and disappointed as we haven't been able to watch Django in Edinburgh : it was forbidden for people under 18 whereas in France it's only forbidden for people under 12 ... Never mind ! We switched for The Hobbit which was a great 169 minutes of listening comprehension.
